I have managed to get some stitching in lately and have finally finished my son’s birth sampler. He is now 4 months old so I beat my goal of having it done before his 1st birthday! My previous update can be found here.
It is the Savannah Birth Record by Dimensions, stitched on 18 count aida using threads from the kit. I stitched this one colour by colour for fun.
This was a delight to stitch and Dimensions have excellent birth sampler kits to choose from. Now I just need to frame it (I have stitched his details in the centre).
I am not sure what my next project will be. I will dive into my box of wips and see what happens.
Until next time. Happy stitching!
Since we brought our son home, he has been in cloth nappies (diapers). I had 25 nappies that were specifically sized for a newborn as my ‘one size’ collection wouldn’t start fitting until he reaches at least 4kgs.
*I will note that I paid full price for these nappies from Darlings Downunder and have not received any endorsements or incentives from the companies involved*
A stitching update on my son’s birth sampler. Since he has been born I have managed maybe 50 stitches and hopefully it will be finished before his 1st birthday! Here is my colour by colour progress.

This entry has taken a while as I have moved house and finished work in the last few months! I am currently almost 38 weeks pregnant, so here is my recap of the third trimester so far.
Here we are at the end of another month for 2016. I had high hopes that this year I would get all those WIPs worked on and keep up with my stitch-a-longs, well, it hasn’t quite worked like that!
