Since we brought our son home, he has been in cloth nappies (diapers). I had 25 nappies that were specifically sized for a newborn as my ‘one size’ collection wouldn’t start fitting until he reaches at least 4kgs.
*I will note that I paid full price for these nappies from Darlings Downunder and have not received any endorsements or incentives from the companies involved*
Here we are at the end of another month for 2016. I had high hopes that this year I would get all those WIPs worked on and keep up with my stitch-a-longs, well, it hasn’t quite worked like that!
*Please note: This post includes discussion of my pregnancy, including ultrasound photo*
I had the recent pleasure of attending a Saturday night performance of Georges Bizet’s Carmen at the Sydney Opera House. Opera Australia will be performing Carmen from 16th June and 12 August 2016. We left home early and took a 4 hour bus ride from our hometown to Sydney. Once in Sydney we settled into our hotel room and then wandered the city, grabbed some lunch and an early dinner, then head back to get ready…
We began our trip with a 3-hour bus ride to Sydney Airport and arrived in plenty of time for our flight. The flights themselves were uneventful, only small pockets of turbulence and a quick change of flights in Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airlines service was fantastic and I would definitely fly with them again. Berlin Air were also lovely and we landed at Berlin Tegel on time. We could finally start our adventures! I will probably do multiple posts for this trip, otherwise it would be a mammoth read.
I will add links to the parts as they are published:
Part 1 – Berlin
Part 2 – Bamberg, Nuremberg and Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber
Part 3 – Freiburg and Munich
Part 4 – Salzburg and Graz
Part 5 – Vienna
So, onto Berlin!
What can I say? January has vanished into thin air. It was a busy month, organising my sister’s baby shower, attending my brother’s wedding and our last minute travel preparations. However, I did manage to work on the projects I wanted too.
