I have managed to get some stitching in lately and have finally finished my son’s birth sampler. He is now 4 months old so I beat my goal of having it done before his 1st birthday! My previous update can be found here.
A stitching update on my son’s birth sampler. Since he has been born I have managed maybe 50 stitches and hopefully it will be finished before his 1st birthday! Here is my colour by colour progress.
Here we are at the end of another month for 2016. I had high hopes that this year I would get all those WIPs worked on and keep up with my stitch-a-longs, well, it hasn’t quite worked like that!
I finished my Tiny Modernist Giraffe Birth Announcement in time to give it to my nephew on the weekend. It was a nice one to stitch, although slightly tricky on the darker fabric.
Apart from the ANZAC cross-stitch, I have completed a few other projects, mostly as gifts for friends or family. I have deleted personal details from the stitches so my apologies for the blobs in the middle of the pictures. I have included a link to the kit or chart if possible. Continue reading
