Here we are at the end of another month for 2016. I had high hopes that this year I would get all those WIPs worked on and keep up with my stitch-a-longs, well, it hasn’t quite worked like that!
Here we are in August already! I am definitely still stitching, but it has been slow going over the last few months. But I do have a small update for you all:
Well, due to my holiday and starting at a new team at work, I have been very slack about updating you all about my WIPs. Here goes!
What can I say? January has vanished into thin air. It was a busy month, organising my sister’s baby shower, attending my brother’s wedding and our last minute travel preparations. However, I did manage to work on the projects I wanted too.
The final WIP update for 2015! I haven’t done as much stitching this month as I have previously. The festive season tends to get in the way and I have been practicing my piano more often as well. However, I still have 2 finishes for the month!
I purchased this book from my local bookstore because it looked interesting, again, to no ones surprise it is historical. The book is Born Bad by James Boyce.
I purchased this book in Cambridge while I was on my honeymoon, I couldn’t resist one of the many many history books the store contained. The book is The Sick Child in Early Modern England, 1580-1720 by Hannah Newton.
